Death-defying, literally.
Did you guys know that one of the survivors of the Hindenburg, Joseph Spah, was a circus performer who used his acrobatic skill to jump from the zeppelin? I didn’t! One of our CS teachers, Rick Andreoli, sent this article to me this week.
He was accused of sabotage because he was one of the few survivors, while also having had some terse words with the captain during the flight, but later found innocent.

Sidebar: his stage name was Ben Dova. But that’s a different post all together!

DAREDEVIL!
Saw this headline in the elevator at work. Yes, there are televisions in elevators now. That was never a thing. Why has that become a thing?
Megastunts: Highwire over Niagara Falls LIVE!
Anyhoots, this guy, Nik Wallenda (7th generation of the circus Wallendas) is high wire walking over the Niagara falls tonight! At night! It’s weird that they call him a “daredevil.” Does that mean all circus people are daredevils? Am I a daredevil? If being afraid of waters (including pools) 12 ft and deeper because of shark attacks is what daredevils do, then yes!
Here are some bad ass pics of the Wallenda family in all their black & white glory!

We are tired, y’all. At least, I know I am; still coming down from the performance/adrenaline high that I’ve had since last Wednesday.
But I made this GIF for you, featuring the Acro group that killed it in both shows this weekend. Photos by the lovely Charles Ferrari.
Yeah, I made a circus GIF. Deal with it.
